An early morning collision today caused the death of a famously photographed cub in Grand Teton National Park.
The cub was believed to be that of Grizzly 399, one of the well-known bears in the park.
The accident occurred near Pilgrim Creek
Wyoming Wildlife Advocates took to Facebook to announce the news. The cub was known to bear-watchers as ‘Snowy’. The group says some 80% of bear deaths are caused by humans.
