Due to weather and other extenuating circumstances the highway closures at Arizona Creek, approximately five miles north of Colter Bay on Highway 191, have been rescheduled. This work involves temporary highway closures at Arizona Creek on Monday October 21st and Tuesday October 22nd. The work was originally scheduled for this week. On each of these days, there will be two, 3-hour closures of the highway, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. One-way traffic access through the area will be allowed between these times. Grand Teton National Park crews are currently preparing for the installation of new wing walls at Arizona Creek. The work will address deferred maintenance on the bridge’s deteriorating concrete which channels water away from the river banks.
