The local chapter of Guys Who Give presented their latest donation last week to the Teton County Health Department for their suicide prevention program. This latest contribution totaled $9,450, the groups largest yet.
Group Organizer Josh Frappart says the local guys have recently focused on mental health services, giving thousands to the St. John’s Health Foundation last quarter, and a similar sum to the Jackson Hole Community Counseling Center the quarter before that.
There are about a dozen Guys Who Give chapters across the country, and they all function the same way: Men gather four times a year and offer a $100 donation for whichever organization is picked from a hat.
