Prominent legislator and business owner from Jackson, H.L. Jensen passed away Tuesday at the age of 91. Jensen had served in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 1975 until 1991 as a Democratic legislator and served as Minority Floor Leader eight of those years. He operated the R.J. Bar which evolved from the Bluebird Café which he purchased in 1947. Jensen was also a familiar participant in the activities of the Shriners for the Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. Jensen was living near his son in Iowa at the time of his death.
