Jackson Hole Airport is not listed among those Wyoming airports that will no longer be served by Hertz Car Rental. Hertz has announced the company will be no longer providing cars to rent at the Cheyenne, Laramie or Riverton airports. The car rental service that once boasted being Number 1 filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection early this year with nearly $19-billion of debt and around 700,000 rental cars sitting idle. Hertz will still serve travelers through Jackson Hole Airport along with Avis, Budget and Enterprise Car Rentals. Hertz remains one of the top 10 used car retailers in the country by volume, with roughly 104,000 vehicles sold in 2019, as part of the continual refreshing of its fleet to meet market demands.
