With the Wilson Chicken Fry behind us, it is time for Hoback Fire Department’s annual barbeque rib picnic. Due to continuing concerns about the COVID virus, the firefighters will again this year serve up their popular ribs in a drive-through fashion from their fire station at Hoback Junction.
The firefighters will again be cooking up 3000 pounds of ribs and serve them for $20 a rack until they are gone. Participants may also purchase tickets for drawings for a rifle, or a Traeger grill. Like the Wilson event earlier, proceeds from the barbeque picnic will be used to augment the needs of the volunteer fire department at Hoback Junction.
