Lou Hochheiser, former St John’s Health CEO and newly elected hospital trustee, passed away just before Thanksgiving.
Hochheiser, who retired from the helm of St Johns Health in 2016, served in that capacity for four years.
After his retirement, Hochheiser stayed involved in many community efforts including serving on the board of the Senior Center of Jackson Hole and, earlier this year, running for, and being elected to the Board of Trustees of St. John’s Health.
Hochheiser was 86.
Cynthia Hogan, board chair of St. John’s Health said, “The Board and staff of St. John’s Health were saddened to hear about Lou’s passing. The Board of Trustees will discuss the vacancy, in accordance with statute and bylaws, at the next regular public board meeting.”
