Don’t bother to go to any of the post offices today. They will be closed for Columbus Day. Teton County Integrated Solid Waste & Recycling officials have announced that the Trash Transfer Station will also be closed to the public due to the Columbus Day holiday. Although Teton County itself does not observe Columbus Day, the landfill in Bonneville County, Idaho does and it is closed. During this closure, without access to the landfill, Teton County is unable to accept material for transfer. Regular business hours will resume at 7am on Tuesday, October 9th. Meanwhile, The Recycling Center will be open on Monday for regular business hours, 9am-6pm.
