Hunters in the Kepps Crossing Rd area near Idaho Falls called Bonneville County Dispatch at 9:17 am upon finding a naked man, identified as Jeremy Albert Best, wanted for homicide, in a sleeping bag by the road. Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputies located Best’s vehicle and the deceased child, Zeke Best, nearby. Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, are investigating. Best, after medical clearance, was detained at the Bonneville County Jail on a Teton County warrant.
Authorities have been searching for Best and his ten-month-old child since Thursday when deputies responded to a 911 call and found 38-year-old Kali Randall, Best’s wife, dead of a presumed homicide.
