Jackson/Teton County Recreation Department is establishing several outdoor ice rinks around the community. An ice rink at the Fairgrounds on Snow King Avenue has already opened for public and a recreational broomball league will start Monday December 10th. The Owen Bircher ice rink will be open by this weekend and Powderhorn and Alta ice rinks are still being flooded. Meanwhile, popular Nordic ski trails around the valley have been packed with the snowmobile and roller and are currently in variable condition. Staff will begin our normal grooming schedule on Tuesday December 4th.
