For the second year in a row, Idaho National Laboratory will host several university teams from around the region taking part in a national cybersecurity competition. The U.S. Department of Energy is hosting its CyberForce Competition at a total of 10 national laboratories across America, providing an opportunity for 105 college teams to compete against each other. Among the regional teams participating at the INL are BYU-Idaho, Idaho State University, the University of Idaho/Idaho Falls, and the University of Wyoming. The competition is co-funded by the DOE’s Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security and Emergency Response, Office of Electricity, Office of Science, Office of the Chief Information Officer and the National Nuclear Security Administration.
