Passenger traffic through Jackson Hole Airport was up again last month, surpassing last January’s totals and even eclipsing those from the last pre-pandemic year, 2019.
According to the monthly report to the airport board, 40,365 passengers arrived on one of the five airlines serving the valley last month for a 40% increase over January of 2021, while 44,543 flew out for a 35% increase this year.
By comparison, the arrivals in January this year outpaced the January figures in 2019 by 14% while the departures increased by 10%. Altogether, there were 520 in and out flights at the Jackson Hole Airport last month connecting the valley with nine cities nationwide
