Just as the airport in Jackson Hole gets ready to close for maintenance, statistics show passenger activity continued to increase.
Jackson Hole Airport continues to see growing enplanements and deplanements last month showing significant increases over February 2021.
According to the monthly report to the airport board, travelers arriving on one of the five airlines currently serving the valley increased by 32% with 45,793 people passing through the antler arch leading away from the tarmac.
Meanwhile, 34% more passengers made connections with flights out of the valley with 45,055 people being screened by TSA agents. The number of flights in and out of the airport were up by 5%. Year-to-date, outbound passengers increased by 16% while the number of inbound passengers declined by 3%, offsetting the 30% increase in arrivals seen during the first two months of 2021.
