The Jackson Hole Airport will remain open and continue to operate while taking measures to protect the community, staff, stakeholders and airport users. Airport Director Jim Elwood emphasizes, “We do not plan to close the airport unless directed from the Federal Aviation Administration.” Until then, Elwood says the airport is fully operational. Travelers concerned about flight itineraries should contact their airline directly. To ensure the health and safety of the traveling public and community, the airport staff is taking steps to ensure a strategic response to the COVID-19, and continues to implement an aggressive disinfecting protocol throughout the terminal.
