In the wake of the emergency closure of Yellowstone National Park, the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce is in direct conversations with the Wyoming Office of Tourism coordinating visitor communications. The Chamber is also in communication with surrounding communities to let them know we are available to accommodate folks who’s travel plans have been disrupted.
Currently, the Chamber is working with the Travel and Tourism Board and their marketing agency to create a unified message and strategy moving forward that can be shared. The objective is to ensure that the Chamber can mitigate the spread of any misinformation and have a consistent positive approach to the rest of this season safely moving forward. The Visitor Services Department will continue to take calls and answer emails late into the evening until further notice.
