Four college-bound Jackson Hole High School students were awarded monetary prizes for their essays that described how the U.S. Constitution affected them personally. The contest is sponsored each year by the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The 350–400-word essays demonstrated a personal knowledge of the Constitution, as well as two or more Constitutional Amendments and the Bill of Rights.
The winners of the 2021 contest were 1st place winner John Brown winning $3,000, 2nd place winner Tilli Rosetti winning $2,000, 3rd place winner Chloe Stines receiving $500, and 4th place winner Brooklyn McCooey, also receiving $500. Annika Peacock was honored with the Good Citizenship Award and received $250. The Good Citizenship Award is decided by the Faculty at Jackson Hole High School, and not by an essay submission or application from a student.
