After a successful opening weekend and with almost 10 feet of snowfall so far this season, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort will expand its terrain, lift and restaurant offerings starting this Saturday. Thunder and Sublette Chairlifts and the Granite Ridge surface lift will open in addition to all the lifts spinning last weekend. Together, they allow for over 3,600 vertical feet of skiing and riding at JHMR. President Mary Kate Buckley notes that in part due to compliance of staff and guests with the new safety measures, the weekend opening was very successful. However, she stresses that all openings, hours and COVID protocols are subject to change. Early season conditions still exist, and all guests are advised to obey all closed areas and watch for hazards.
