The Jackson Police Department is investigating a hit and run collision that occurred on February 14th at approximately 9:45 pm in the parking lot of the Albertson’s Grocery Store.
A vehicle that appears to be a dark colored 2007-2014 Chevrolet Suburban is seen pulling into the parking lot and then backing into a parking space.
As the vehicle backed into the parking space it collided with the front end of a black Toyota 4Runner, causing significant damage to the 4Runner. Parts of the Suburban were also left at the scene and collected.
The driver of the Suburban entered Albertson’s, made a cash purchase and then returned to her vehicle.
The owner of the 4Runner attempted to speak with the suspect who then left the parking lot without leaving required information to settle the collision. The suspect appears to be a slender female with black hair in her 20’s or 30’s wearing dark clothing.
