Both the girls and boys Jackson Hole High School alpine skiers dominated the state championships at Snow King over the weekend going one through five. With the conclusion of the competition, five boys and five girls were named All-State skiers.
In the top five positions for the boys in order of appearance were Nick Janssen, Eddie Owens, Travis D’Amours, Owen Janssen and Ridge Kling. The top four for the girls were Taylor Smith, Ava Ulmer, Sidney Nash and Madison Kramer, with Cadel Carrigan coming in eighth. The girls have now taken state 9 out of the past 11 years while the boys have won ten.
