The new Target store, which has taken over the space vacated by K-Mart in 2020, will celebrate its grand opening Sunday, April third.
According to the parent company, the new Jackson store will offer approximately 70,000 square feet of retail space and employ 62 team members. Among the features available in the store will be a CVS Pharmacy and drive-up order pickup, Starbucks, extensive kids and baby products including apparel, toys and baby essentials and groceries.
Target donated over $20,000 in cash grants to area nonprofits in 2021 within the state of Wyoming, plus almost 30,000 pounds of food to local food banks. The stores’ team members also performed more than 440 volunteer hours in their communities.
Among Target’s community partners are Greater Wyoming Big Brothers & Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, and The Animal Adoption Center of Jackson.
