Marlon Forrest, a 29-year-old from Port Maria, Jamaica, has been sentenced to 80 months in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release for his role in aiding and abetting the distribution of cocaine. The sentencing was handed down by U.S. District Court Judge Kelly H. Rankin on January 9, 2025.
The case began in November 2023 when the DCI Southwest Enforcement Team launched an investigation into a cocaine trafficking operation centered around Jackson, Wyoming. Over the course of a month, agents conducted several controlled purchases and monitored Forrest’s activities closely.
Forrest was indicted on March 13, 2024, and subsequently pleaded guilty on May 22, 2024, to the charges against him. The investigation was led by the Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), with Assistant U.S. Attorney Z. Seth Griswold prosecuting the case.
