
It should come as no surprise that due to the ongoing pandemic, people are reluctant to travel. Jackson Hole Airport Spokesperson Megan Jenkins says they continue to see very minimal traffic at the airport, and with the airlines adjusting their schedules from moment to moment, there have only been a couple arrivals and departures each day at best. Jenkins points out that the FAA notified airports they are not authorized to close due to COVID-19. In the meantime, airport personnel have been diligently deep cleaning the facility multiple times a day with hospital-grade cleaning equipment and supplies.
