Air travel through Jackson Hole Airport saw a marked improvement last month over the past several months this year. According to the report to the Jackson Hole Airport board, enplanements were down 10% from October last year, and deplanements were down 8% from the same month in 2019. While still a decline, it is much improved from the decreases of over 30% in both enplanements and deplanements for the past six months. Year to date, passenger traffic is down about 40%. Air service was reduced significantly over the past several months, but increased by 12% this October over October 2019. Next month, air service will be provided by Alaska, American, Delta and United Airlines, to 14 destinations including New York LaGuardia & JFK, Newark, Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, Salt Lake City and Denver.
