The Town of Jackson, Teton County and the Housing Authority want to know what you think about a proposed affordable housing project at 440 W. Kelly Avenue. The town and county purchased acre property in January, and solicited developers to pitch proposals for building a new housing project on the land – requesting a minimum of 15 units in the proposal. Development team J. Roller and Tack Development and Design Associates was selected to build the project. However, the plan did not meet an overwhelming approval from the public. Consequently, the town wants the community’s input. The developers will present these redesigns and ask for public feedback at a meeting from 6:00 to 8-00 pm Wednesday at the town engineering building on King Street (long-time residents will remember it as the former library building). Child care and light refreshments will be provided.
