The Children’s Learning Center shut down its Mercill campus in Jackson Tuesday after confirmation of a COVID-19 case from someone who had been in the facility. Nicole Philbin, director of Teton County Early Childhood Care and Education assured parents and caregivers in a letter that the incident does not mean everyone was exposed. Rather, the closure is to allow time for contact tracing and thorough cleaning and sanitation of the facility. At this time, health officials are undergoing contact tracing protocol to prevent further community spread.
