A popular area along the Snake River to walk with a dog or simply take an evening stroll will be closed for the next three days. The levee section along the Snake River north of Emily Steven’s Park will be closed beginning today and continue so for three days this week as work is performed. The closure is to allow for levee repair work. The pathway bridge will be accessible from Emily’s Pond parking across the river to the R-Park and a one-mile pedestrian and dog path around the park. The levee is slated to reopen on Friday, May 15th.
