The Walton Levee along the Snake River at Emily’s Pond just off Wyoming Highway 22 is now open to the public after being closed for routine maintenance. The Teton County Road and Levee crews finished hauling levee rip-rap rock to the County stockpile facility on Tuesday, allowing the levee to reopen for public access earlier than projected. The levee was originally scheduled to be closed through May 4th. The levee is a popular location for locals to go for walks and to walk their dogs.
