Library Director Departs

The Teton County Library Board issued a press release Thursday and announced the departure of Director of Library Services, Oscar Gittemeier.  The Board expressed appreciation for Gittemeier’s work at the helm of the Teton County Library and the passion he brought to his role as Director. They said that library services to the public will remain uninterrupted.
“The Library Board recognizes and appreciates the library staff who have gone above and beyond, and will continue to do so as it is the priority of the library to provide the quality of service that is expected from the patrons of the library and the community,” said Library Board Chairman Mark Hendrickson. “The Board is committed to ensuring that staff at the library have a good working environment and we will work to support them though this transition.”
The Library Board also noted the collaboration with the Teton County Board of County Commissioners in ensuring the community continues to have the best of library services.
