Beginning today, all affected Teton County businesses will follow Statewide Public Health Orders #1 and #3, which will remain valid through May 15th unless revoked or extended by the Wyoming Department of Health. The Statewide Public Health Orders list operational conditions and restrictions that apply to include restaurants, theaters, gymnasiums, childcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and trade schools and also nail salons, hair salons, barber shops, massage therapy services, tattoo, body art and piercing shops, and cosmetology, electrology, and esthetic services. Under the state orders, gymnasiums may reopen on a limited bases so long as staff wears face masks at all times, no more than nine patrons are allowed in any room or section at any given time, group workout classes are prohibited, swimming pools must be limited to one swimmer per lane, and strict records are being kept of customer usage (to name just a few of the conditions). Childcare will become available for essential workers only under specific conditions. Barber shops and hair salons may also open under conditions that include no more than nine people are in the shop at any given time, patrons are at least six feet apart while receiving service, patrons must wear face masks while receiving service and service will be by appointment only. Restaurants may still not provide dine-in services. The statewide conditions and restrictions are not set to expire until May 15th.
