Beginning tomorrow and every Tuesday and Friday at 7:30 pm, music fans can enjoy a 30-minute performance by some of Jackson’s finest and most celebrated musicians, by simply going to Silver Dollar Bar and Grill on Facebook at the designated time to hear the live performances. Recognizing the stay at home order, performers will set up in their own home studios. Additionally, in support of our local musicians, mostly out of work, a virtual tip jar will be listed so fans have the option to support the featured artist via PayPal or Venmo. The Live Streaming Series will kick off with an up-tempo performance by Justin Smith of the One Ton Pig. Jim Waldrop, president of Silver Dollar Inc. explains he wanted to offer these live streaming sessions in order to help keep both the musicians and music lovers engaged. Jackson Hole Radio will help promote the series by airing music from the scheduled artists prior their streaming shows 96.9 KMTN – The Mountain. Scott Anderson, owner of JH Radio says, “This is a profound community situation and music has the power to bring us together, even if it’s from the safety of our own homes. Anything we can do to help.” WortHotel.com for more information.
