Wyoming’s US Senators John Barrasso and Cynthia Lummis, announced the passage the Postal Service Reform Act of 2022 by a vote of 79 to 19. Barrasso explained that in in Wyoming, rural communities depend on the U.S. Postal Service to keep those communities running strong.
Senator Barrasso says, “Most importantly, this bill requires the Postal Service to maintain its standard of six-day delivery. This is critical for seniors and people all across Wyoming who rely on Saturday delivery for medications and other vital packages.” Barrasso says the measure is far from perfect, but it gives the postal service the resources it needs to get the job done.
