Wyoming’s county commissioners elected new executive leadership from among their peers at the virtual Wyoming County Commissioners Association Winter Meeting. Jim Willox, Converse County Commissioner, was elected as the 2021-2022 President, taking the reins from the 2019-2020 President Troy Thompson (Laramie County). Other officers elected were Bill Novotny, Johnson County Commissioner, as Vice President and Natalia Macker, Teton County Commissioner, as Treasurer. Macker recently served as Chairwoman of the WCCA Health, Safety, and Social Services Committee and on the WCCA Board of Directors. She is a gubernatorial appointee to the Wyoming Council for Women and Land Quality Advisory Board. She advises for the Period Project (an effort to end period poverty) in Jackson and is the Wyoming delegate to Vision2020 (a nonpartisan convener of women and men committed to gender equality). She also serves as the Artistic Director of Off Square Theatre Company.
