The Colorado man who left the walkway in Yellowstone National Park and walked up to the mouth of Old Faithful has been banned from entering either Yellowstone or Grand Teton National Parks for the next five years. During an appearance in U.S. District Court of Wyoming in Yellowstone last week, 27-year-old Gabriel Villalva of Greeley, Colorado pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, and foot traffic on a thermal area. Magistrate Judge Mark Carman sentenced him to five years of probation, during which time he cannot enter the parks. Villalva remains jailed on $10,000 cash bond in connection with another case out of Cheyenne.
