It’s down to the final vote which is due in by midnight Monday. Teton School District Students are to choose their mascots from three finalists out of the previous three ballots. Those three names are Raptors, Timberwolves and Yeti. With many of the school-issued student computers having been collected now, those students without a means to vote online are being invited to go by the Teton High School in Driggs to cast their votes. Meanwhile, there are still those in the community who are objecting to the replacement of the old school mascot, the Redskins, which was removed as being politically incorrect and disrespectful to Native Americans. The controversial image had served as the school’s mascot for 90 years.
