It’s really nothing new in Teton County, but a new federal directive that took effect yesterday underscores the requirement of wearing a mask on START Busses to mitigate the risk of COVID-19.
This means that face coverings must be worn not only on all START buses, but also at all bus stops and shelters, and at any location where START bus tickets or passes are sold.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued the Order for a mask requirement on public transportation systems nationwide including rail, van, bus and motor coaches.
The CDC Order implements President Biden’s Executive Order promoting COVID-19 safety on domestic travel. Science-based measures are critical to preventing the spread of COVID-19.
