The Jackson Town Council yesterday voted to extend the current mask-wearing mandate through December, at the request of Teton County Health Officer Dr. Travis Riddell. Dr. Riddell had reached out to both Jackson Mayor Hailey Morton Levinson and Teton County Board of County Commissioners Chair Natalia Macker over the weekend to request that the respective elected bodies vote in favor of the extension. Mayor Levenson explained to the council that a relaxation of the mandate could be called if things improve.
