On Thursday, May 28th, Teton County Health Department cohosted a COVID-19 active disease mass testing event with Emerg-A-Care and Jackson Hole Fire/EMS. The event, held at Teton County Fairgrounds, was a huge success. We also want to thank the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole for funding the vouchers for those who were uninsured or under insured and all our other partners who assisted in making this an amazing event.
A total of 1346 people who live and work in Teton County, WY were tested. The event welcomed both insured and uninsured individuals, as well as those who were symptomatic or asymptomatic. Of those individuals who were tested 120 reported having symptoms, 368 reported traveling within the last 2 weeks and 80 people were non-Teton County, WY residents but work in Teton County. We are still pending a handful of results but all the results we have received so far are negative. You can find the results here http://www.tetoncountywy.gov/2117/COVID-19-Mass-Testing-Event.
