Memorial Day typically marks the beginning of the summer season and increased tourism in Jackson Hole. Jackson Mayor Pete Muldoon urges visitors to the community to observe the precautions that have become standard through the ongoing pandemic.
“We’re slowly getting ready to welcome visitors back, and encourage careful consideration of your visit as our health resources and tourism remain limited. We’re gradually reopening with your safety and the safety of our community in mind. To do so, we’re dedicated to responsible tourism in three ways: staying clean, careful and connected.”
Muldoon explains that staying clean means frequently washing your hands, being careful means observing social distancing and wearing cloth face coverings, and connected means monitoring the most up to date information regarding community restrictions and policies. Muldoon says the community encourages tourists give careful consideration during their visit as Jackson’s health resources and tourism services remain limited.
