The body of Jackson Marine Rylee McCollum who was one of 13 servicemen killed in Afghanistan last month returns to his home Friday.
McCollum’s body is scheduled to arrive at the Jackson Hole Airport at shortly after 4:00 pm. From there, a procession will proceed to Highway 191 and then south into town. People are encouraged to line up along sidewalks with their American flags.
The procession will be led by members of Jackson Police, Teton County Sheriff’s Office, and Wyoming Highway Patrol, followed by a military escort. Teton County First Responders will meet the procession on the north end of town from where it will continue on Cache Street to Broadway and conclude at Scott Lane. The public is encouraged to park at the fairgrounds.
