More grizzlies relocated

Another bear has been removed from the area north of Pinedale where it had been preying on cattle grazing there.

After consultation with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department captured and relocated the sub-adult female bear on July 23^rd and relocated it to the Five Mile Creek drainage approximately five miles from the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park.

Bears that are considered a threat to human safety are never relocated. This bear was captured for killing cattle on a U.S. Forest Service grazing allotment north of Pinedale.

Only a week earlier, a problem grizzly bear was captured north of Pinedale and relocated to an area also about 5 miles from the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Wyoming Game and Fish officials say the adult male had also killed cattle on a US Forest Service grazing allotment north of Pinedale.
