The Wyoming Department of Transportation, along with contract crews from H-K Contractors, Inc. will begin milling a 3-mile section of highway 89, beginning at mile marker 148.70, just south of the town of Jackson. Drivers will see reduced lanes and speeds. During milling and paving operations, the section will be reduced to a single lane in each direction, so WYDOT is asking travelers to plan accordingly and allow time for possible delays. Milling operations are scheduled to begin Monday May 4th and should take roughly a week. Paving operations are scheduled to begin on May 11th and are scheduled to last until the first week of June. There will also be some miscellaneous work in the area. The completion date for this project is targeted as October 31st.
