A 25-year-old male driver has survived a crash early this week down approximately 500 feet off of Fremont Lake Road near White Pine Ski Area in Sublette County.
Sublette County Deputies, Wyoming Highway Patrol, Sublette County EMS, Sublette County Unified Fire and Tip Top Search and Rescue were all dispatched to the scene and found the driver still in the car. It took several agencies working together to bring the victim safely up the steep terrain.
The Sublette County Sheriff’s office have identified the driver as Lucas Corwin of Cora. The subject was taken to the Pinedale Medical clinic and subsequently life flighted to Eastern Idaho Medical Center in Idaho Falls with unspecified bone injuries. There is no word on his current condition. The crash is being investigated by the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
