In a vote that could make our town famous, the Jackson Town Council approved a permit for an independent filmmaker to shoot scenes for a film about a family moving to a small town in Wyoming and their experiences along the way.
The movie makers say their crew will consist of about 25 people with a camera on a tripod and one handheld camera.
Scenes will include shots of the family in the film walking in front of shops on the sidewalk in the Jackson town square area and parking and getting out of their car in an available parking space in the town square area.
Ben Jen LLC, the filmmakers, will have the shots wrapped by September 19th.
No word yet on whether an orangutan will take part in the cast.
