If you chose not to wear a mask while riding the START bus in Jackson, you may be having a conversation with a Jackson police officer.
Transit Director Darren Brugmann told the community update on COVID-19 in Teton County that Jackson Police officers will be making spot checks on the busses for face mask compliance.
“Police have been giving verbal warnings, and will assist START drivers in removing, or asking those to remove themselves from our busses if they defy the federal (which is now a federal) mask mandate for all public transit agencies to wear face masks,” he said.
Moreover, Brugmann says there are those who choose not to wear a mask, and if you do, do not ride START!
