It has been 11 days since the mass testing of Teton County residents for COVID-19 was conducted, but the results from the labs have not entirely been returned as yet. Over 1,300 people were tested, and due to the overwhelming turnout, the labs were overwhelmed. Still, Teton County Director of Health Jodie Pond says the results received so far are all negative, meaning COVID-19 was not detected. However, health officials stress that active disease testing is a point in time test. The test only determines that participants did not have the disease in that moment, and could still be exposed and contract the virus at a different time.
