North South Park Sketch Plan Approved

Teton County Commissioners on Tuesday approved the sketch plan for the proposed 84-unit North South Park development.
The proposal had been delayed by commissioners but the applicants, JHHR Holdings, invoked a demand for immediate action.
The planning process has been slowed by concerns about the impact the development would have on public infrastructure, namely the sewer plant.
Some town officials had indicated that they could deny the landowners a connection, writing in a letter to the commission, that the Town of Jackson Town Council had the sole discretion to allow or not allow it.
Yesterday, a bill was introduced in the Wyoming Legislature that, if adopted, would take that authority away from the town.
The sketch plan approval is just the beginning of the approval process. The vote was 4-1 with Commissioner Luther Probst opposed.
