President and CEO of the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce, Anna Olson will be leaving that role to become next President of St. John’s Health Foundation. Olson will also be part of the St. John’s Health executive leadership team as their Chief Philanthropy Officer. She will start her new post on September 26.
Olson said she is looking forward to her new position, “I am just so excited and thrilled to be moving into Health and Human services and get up every day and go to work knowing that we’re helping the community.”
Olson is currently President/CEO of the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce which has more than 900 members, a role she has held since 2017.
She reflected on what she learned in her years working with the Chamber membership, “I have so much respect for them that’s what I learned how hard it is being a small business owner and doing it every day and worrying about everything from HR to you know will they still walk in the door when I open you unlock the front door so it’s an incredibly involved role.”
Olson’s accomplishments at the Chamber include the creation of the Economic Recovery Task Force, other pandemic programs, and the Housing Task Force. Prior to leading the Chamber, Olson served in brand and communications roles at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for twenty years.
Current VP Visitor Services and Membership, Rick Howe will step into the role as Interim CEO as of Anna’s departure date.
