Fewer passengers caught flights out of the Jackson Hole Airport during December but the airport still saw an increase in inbound passengers. According to the monthly airport activity report, December saw one-percent fewer outbound passengers and 24% more inbound passengers, while year-to date, the passenger count increased 11% for enplanements and 13% for deplanements. At the same time, flights to and from the valley showed a 13% increase in December alone with direct service between Jackson Hole and 13 major cities nationwide. Altogether, four major airlines served the valley during 2018 – American, Delta, United and Frontier Airlines. The number of commercial flights in and out of Jackson Hole for all of 2018 increased by 11%.
