The Jackson Rotary Lunch Club announced that Stuart Palmer has been honored as Rotarian of the Year by the organization.
Stuart Palmer who has been a Rotary member for 30 years, has served both the local community and has been instrumental in essential projects internationally. Most recently, Stuart completed his tenth year on the club’s Board of Directors as Chair of International and Rotary Foundation committees. He assisted in raising over $8,000 for the Annual Fund and $2,000 for Polio. Stuart was active in raising funds recently to provide water filters, remodeled school bathrooms, a kitchen dishwashing area and more for schools in Grahamstown, South Africa. Without access to clean water, these schools would not be able to operate.
