Today marks the first day this year that Jackson residents may park on the streets overnight. Under the town ordinance, parking is restricted from the streets between November 1st and April 15th to facilitate snow removal during those months.
With the lifting of that restriction, vehicles may now be parked for up to 72 hours on most streets except in the downtown area. Overnight parking is also not permitted in the Home Ranch, the Deloney and Miller Park parking lots. Parking is permitted for up to 48 hours in the town parking structure on Millward Street.
